As as a Dallas Fort Worth senior and family photographer I photograph high school seniors in Southlake, Texas and the surrounding cities of the Dallas Fort Worth MetroPlex including Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Arlington, Hurst, Euless, and Bedford. I specialize in artistic hand retouched photography of babies , children , maternity , families, and seniors.
They say a portrait reflects as much about the photographer as it does the subject that stands before them.
My style could be described as vibrant, whimsical, elegant, classic and embracing genuine emotion. I love the beauty in nature and the elegance of exquisite architecture. My goal is to provide timeless portraits, the kind that can be handed down for generations to come. I capture organic emotion within those portraits, and the outer and inner beauty within each subject.
I provide quality over sheer quantity. Stunning photography is worth the hours it takes to create. My belief is attention to every detail is what creates a beautiful work of art. I am not a high volume photographer who is concentrated on providing a enormous amount of images. I would much rather take the time to meticulously plan, execute, and edit a session and deliver only the most beautiful representation of your family.
I have always loved people. My heart is happiest when I'm with others. My desire in each session is to make you feel comfortable, capture who you are as an individual, and provide you with cherished artwork of your family or child.

April was amazing! I am so thankful we contacted her for my daughter's senior pictures. Anna had a blast throughout the day, starting with hair & makeup with Joy @ Peacocky Beauty all the way through to the last picture. April's location choices were perfect and she was so much fun and kept Anna engaged and excited (which isn't easy for someone who doesn't like her picture taken). April is very responsive to texts and emails before and after the shoot and her return time for proofs and final photos was impressive. Whenever our next occasion arises, I won't hesitate to contact her again!

We chose the Highland Park location and it was perfect with the outfits our daughter chose and the look she wanted. We also loved the hair and makeup artist that April recommended, Joy Peacock. April was such an amazing photographer and so professional & easy to work with!
She met us in Sundance Square before sunset and effortlessly set up a number of different backgrounds for my son’s senior photos. She sent us our proofs in less than a week and our final choices were edited beautifully and returned quickly, too.
She made him feel so comfortable and really brought out his natural “self” in his pictures, they don’t look posed or stiff due to her energy and efforts.
