April Christine Photography is a family photographer in Southlake, Texas and serves all the surrounding areas such as Grapevine, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Keller, Arlington, and the Mid Cities.
My goal is to capture both your family's inner and outer beauty. I loved posed portraits, as well as portraits that convey intimate emotion.
I often will start with a variety of formal poses. I believe that posed portraits still hold value. A posed portrait embraces timeless elegance, and is stunning blown up into large prints, canvases, or put on mediums like metal and wood. Classic portraits are beautifully showcased in formal areas such as over a fireplace, or your family's entrance to your home.
With as much as I adore posed portraits, I also love the organic emotion of your family's interaction. Often times, especially in my full sessions where we have plenty of time, I will then move on to capturing those sweet moments such as your family looking at each other, hugging, laughing, and a variety of the more emotive expressions.
I enjoy capturing photos of each child individually, the siblings as a group, the parents as a couple, and the whole family together.

We chose April Christine Photography based on her gorgeous portfolio, and we were not disappointed! We took our pictures with April Christine Photography this year , for the first time, and I’m so glad we did. She worked miracles, truly. My son had hit his head and received 5 staples in the back of his head a few hours before. We thought we’d have to cancel but he rallied. He was a bit cross but somehow she got him to cooperate.
Despite the family gene of blinking for all pictures, plus having a very active 3 , 5 and 6 year old, she still got more than the 10 pictures we signed up for. We had a tough time choosing!
