Meet stunning Miss Reese! She is a 2022 Westlake Academy senior! We had such a fun session and were able to incorporate a variety of backgrounds to fit her personality and vision for her senior portraits.
We captured Reese’s senior pictures in Highland Park Village and Davis Park in the heart of Highland Park, Texas. Reese started out wearing a beautiful emerald green formal gown. Let me just say this gown was drop dead gorgeous! Jewel tones are my absolute favorite to photograph, as I feel they lend such a dramatic, yet elegant, pop to portraits. I also loved the fitted trumpet silhouette of the gown and it was just breathtaking on Reese! I asked her where she found it and she said it was from the famous Dallas shop Terry Costa. It truly lent such a timeless, yet glamourous, touch to the formal portraits we captured at her session.
Reese not only cheers for her school, Westlake Academy, but she also cheers on a competitive cheer squad! We made sure to incorporate her cheer uniform in some of her senior pictures and it looked absolutely perfect against the golden backdrops sprinkled throughout Highland Park Village. It is so important for high school senior s to incorporate hobbies or anything that has held meaning throughout their high school careers. This truly helps preserve this fleeting era in their life of their time in high school.
The sophisticated red heels she wore at the end with her jeans and black bodysuit truly added the perfect touch! I make sure to look over all the outfits and wardrobe combinations so we can plan the perfect outfit in the correct sequence for each backdrop we plan to utilize throughout the session. I just knew when looking over Reese’s outfits that this one would be stunning against the Spanish tile stairs in Highland Park Village.
The final senior portraits showcase the painstaking planning and meticulous attention to detail that is carefully executed throughout the entire senior session experience.
