Fort Worth Senior Photographer -Fort Worth Stockyards Senior Session
I had the pleasure of photographing Scott’s senior portrait session in the Fort Worth Stockyards recently. He is a senior at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas and wanted a setting that both encompassed urban architecture and nature for his senior pictures in Fort Worth, Texas.
As a Fort Worth senior photographer, the Fort Worth Stockyards location is one of my very favorites, especially for male high school senior portraits (my other favorite boy senior portrait location is Sundance Square Fort Worth which can be seen in this blog post). There is interesting architecture which encompass rustic wood beams and brick features, as well as a lovely cacti garden right across the street.
He chose a senior session that included three outfit changes and knocked it out of the park with his wardrobe selection. We started with his classic blue suit in the wooden architecture area of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The suit was well tailored and lent a touch of sophistication to the rustic background. I always encourage my high school senior boys to do at least one outfit change which includes a suit or jacket. There is something about suits and sport coats that are timeless and photograph beautifully.
His next outfit change included his football jersey from Liberty Christian School. The jersey photographed so well against the cacti garden and was a great way to commemorate his high school experience. I am always thrilled when seniors bring along something that documents what they were passionate about during their high school journey. If you play a sport, music, create art, or any of the other vast extracurriculars available in high school, I always love incorporating those in your high school senior pictures.
Scott’s last outfit change was jeans and a solid colored button down. I love the vibrant pop of color his shirt lent against the green of the cacti in the background. It is true that outfit selections truly make or break senior portraits!
Scott was definitely a natural in front of the camera (I told him he should have been a model!) and his wardrobe selection against the perfect lighting made for some stunning high school senior portraits.
