As a native Texan who grew up in Fort Worth, Downtown Fort Worth, and especially Sundance Square, are near and dear to my heart. As a TCU alumni I have so many fond college memories in Downtown Fort Worth. Having visited downtown areas all across the country, I can say there is something truly special and captivating about Sundance Square. Not only is it elegant, yet charming, but it lends the perfect urban background for Fort Worth senior or family portraits.
When clients ask me for a glamorous or more formal setting, this is one of my top three picks, along with a European inspired villa, or the Canals at Las Colinas. Downtown Fort Worth photographs well all year long. During the winter, or dead of summer, when the trees and grass have died and look sparse and barren, Downtown Fort Worth still provides a stunning backdrop. There’s beautiful brick streets, sparkling city lights, quaint alley ways, sidewalks lined with trees, and a roof top overlooking the high rises of downtown.
When Damain’s mother contacted me for his senior portraits and explained he wanted an urban vibe, I knew Downtown Fort Worth was the perfect location for this Argyle High School senior’s photoshoot.
